True originals.

Steely Dan has a unique sound and they played a strong selection of music from their extensive history in the show. There's no question in my mind that Donald Fagen is a musical genius and the creative leader of the band put on a entertaining and involving show. If you like Steely Dan music you'll love their concert. The band gives off a cool vibe and swings rather than rocks. However, many in the crowd were into this show and on their feet many times [the Hard Rock is all seat].

The band gave good value and the concert lasted nearly 2 hours with the band exploring some interesting versions of their best known music.

I recommend this band in concert but particularly if you already like their music, which may be something of an acquired taste.

I was tempted to give 5 stars but some may find the music a little academic, so I gave it 4 stars.
