Bruce and the E Street band powered through 2 hours of non-stop, high energy, rock and roll.  There wasn't one pause for commentary, as one song ended Bruce counted, 1,2,3,4 and the next song began, unbelieveable!  I remember 6 song from the new CD, Outlaw Pete, My Lucky Day, Working On A Dream, This Life, Good Eye and The Wrestler.  After the traditional Born To Run they left the stage; returned shortly,  Bruce spoke of the hard economic times and urged fans to contribute to the local CA food bank in the lobby.  He sang a song about " Hard times don't come around here no more" written over a century ago noting how history repeats itself.  Thunder Road was nexted and that's when I made my exit to avoid the inevitable traffic jam that these big venues fall victim to.  Don't expect to see Bruce anytime before 8:30, even though your ticket will say 7:30.  The Boss makes no apologies for being late, it left a bad vibe hanging over the performance for me.  I hate the BIG venues and the sound was muddy at times, but to watch this group command tens of thousands of fans brought me back to the psychedelic unity of the 70's.  It was a cultural phenomenon and I was glad to be there.  I don't know how long he will be able to keep this pace up, but he looks healthy and as strong as ever.  Gotta love the devil from New Jersey.  Doc Xeno
