Great , but where was the encore??

British band delivered on their advance publicity and huge selling first album.

The audience in Orlando felt like a slice of England with a large British turn out among the fans. The fans became more excited as the ordinary first act dragged on [the female lead singer later 'attacked' Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner toward the end!].

The band was tight and rocked, held together by some great drumming. The sound quality meant that many of the Monkeys clever lyrics were lost but the fans but most knew the words. A couple of the Monkeys songs are becoming anthems and the audience enjoyed singing the chorus to Scummy and A Certain Romance. The fans got more into the show but the band appeared slightly detached. Then... the end...with the fans excited, the Monkeys failed to deliver an encore which would have made the show.

Overall a 4, but an encore would have made it a 5.
