I've wanted to see Aerosmith forever. They were the first rock band I absolutely fell in love with. Seeing them at Hyde Park should have been fabulous. But it really wasn't.

That's not to say it wasn't good. It was Aerosmith after all. But the atmosphere wasn't as electric as I exepcted. Steve Tyler gave such an energetic performance and the rest of the band were great, They started with Love in an Elevator and I was really hoping for a trip down memory lane. Unfortunately, instead of being treated to all the old classics, they played a lot of new stuff which just isn't as good.

But then, it's not every day you get to see Run DMC come out on stage for an encore. It's not likely to ever happen again either so in fact, maybe I'm being a bit harsh on my favourite band. After all, it is still Aerosmith.
