What a disappointment. I'm a big Van Morrison fan, but he acted like he was mad at the audience or something. It was weird; no attempt at rapport with the audience, not even a nod to acknowledge applause. The songs all had similar arrangements and style. Couple that with V M's signature mumbling and it all sounds the same after about 3 songs. Even the old hits, which he saved for the encore, were void of any energy on his part. There was lots of energy coming from a too appreciative audience who deserved better.
Favorite moment: The opening number, just him and the piano; very soulful. It went downhill from there.
