The Kooks are a fun, energetic band. Their music is great to listen too and they clearly have a lot of fun onstage. However, the lead singer was practically impossible to understand, whether when speaking or when singing. They had the balance wrong on their set up, (not sure whether that's their fault or the venue's) still, hard to hear any of the lyrics which was sad. Also, could have been that the lead singer was drunk, he was really hard to understand and NO, it wasn't his accent, it was just garbled.

Guitarist and drummer were great, and then the lead singer did a couple acoustic songs before the main encore, which were really good.

all in all, fun concert, although in terms of really enjoying the music not that great. but for entertainment value, it was fun. (Lead flung himself off stage to ride the crowd at one point, that was fun!).
