Wow! I admit. I was wrong about this band. After listening to Sabbata on their myspace, I wasn't really that impressed. They sounded all wrong and misplaced and a little bit 'noisy'. I wasn't looking forward to seeing them.

Thankfully, they were sooooo much better live. I was shocked. I enjoyed listening to them so much and they put on a great show. They manage to mix soul and rock together and it really works. Gone were the noisy annoying guitars. Instead they were replaced with some really great songs. I guess I can't judge a band on their myspace alone.

Other great stuff? Well I've never known of a band to take on a cover of The Ace Of Spades. That's pretty gutsy. What's more, is they actually did it really well. So I'm impressed. Really impressed.

The singer was also really quite attractive and jumped about on stage without his shirt on. I'm not saying that's the only to go and see Sabbata, but it was certainly an unexpected bonus.
