Black Sand
eventSt Pancras Church, London
December 15, 2007
by Morph Agent
You wouldn't normally expect to see one half of (super-club duo) Lemon Jelly messing about inside a huge, beautiful church in Greater London - but that's exactly what we're here to witness tonight.
Comprised of Nick Franglen and Charlie Casey, this duo are sat about on chairs in the centre of the old building, toying about with what seems like infinite streams of wires and electronic boxes. The hushed crowd watch on as an ambient journey through time developes.
Although the group never introduce any beeps, or BPMs for that matter, the Eno-esque wall of sound is enveloping, and mixed with the grandeur of the church, makes for a magical evening.
