The Kooks are and indie band based in Brighton, England having a few mainstream hits such as 'Naive' and 'She Moves in Her Own Way'. The show took place at the Concorde 2, which is a smaller venue which was perfect for the acoustic set. It was put on as a tribute to the little girl Madeleine that had gone missing so the tickets were relatively inexpensive. They had great onstage presence and were able to grasp the audiences' attention for the entire show. It started with the song 'Seaside' which was very catchy and apropos for the location of the show. The finale was 'Naive' which had everyone singing along and leaving us with wanting more. I would love to see The Kooks again, perhaps this time at a larger venue with the drums accompanying.
