I went to the free concert on Fort Lauderdale Beach sponsored by the NFL in association with the Super Bowl. The closing act was OAR who I was not familiar with. They put on an enjoyable and musical set. The 6 piece band featured a sax which gave them a funky edge with a skaa sound. A jam band, they were comfortable to play on in an extended encore. I would see them again. The show on the beach was a nice change with a sense of freedom on the sand, although the weather was chilly.
