Green Pheonix are one of the most confusing bands I've seen in a long time. Half of them look like they've just got out of school, the other half are creepy looking old men. There's something strange about that mix. If they were great, it would work really well. As it was, they left a bad taste in my mouth. It was just a bit weird.

The singer looked terrified. She was actually really good, and she looked like she'd get a lot better, the guitarist was the same. I'm just not sure what they were doing with the old guys.

They play a mix of jazz, blues and indie, which would sound great if they had the confidence to pull it off. Instead, they sound like scared girls on stage with their dads. Clearly this band need to split up into two acts and do their own thing. They just don't work well together.
