God Love You For A Liar

With a whole host of A&R men sniffing around the venue tonight, it looks like we've walked in on one of those "next big things" you keep hearing about. With a healthy attitude of cynicism then, the audience welcomes GLYFAL to the stage.
The most immediate thing about the group is their grasp of Bowie style melodies, which are juxtaposed over Herculean riffs the size of Muse. On songs like 'Upsticks' the group also recall the Killers in the fleeting prime of their youth.
Next big thing though? We're not sure yet, because it can feel derivative from time to time. But the one thing you can't dispute with GLYFAL is that they have their eye on the prize, and possibly the ideas to win it.
