It's been 13 years since Maiden played Florida, it's been a long time coming, and the Bank Alantic arena was filled with anticipation to see this final show of the "Somewhere Back in Time" Tour.

Revisiting the band's early years, this tour's set list focuses almost entirely on the 1980s, and the stage set is loosely based on the 1985 classic "Powerslave" tour.

Iron Maiden have earnt the right to indulge in a bit of nostalgia, but more importantly it's a real thrill for any long time Maiden fan!

From the opening gambit of "Aces High" it's clear that these guys still play with the enthusiasm and vigor of bands half their age, and from hereon we are treated to a 2 hour show that covers all bases.

Highlights include long time classics "Rime of the Ancient Mariner", "Sanctuary", "Wrathchild", "Wasted Years" and set closer "Iron Maiden" complete with a giant "Eddie" emerging from an Egyptian tomb, the whole concert set to a backdrop of amazing light show and pyrotechnic display!

With singer Bruce Dickinson promising to return to Florida in 2011, the 13 year wait is forgotten - welcome back and roll on the next tour!
