Band 3 stars, lighting/fireworks 1 star and fans worth another star made this a 5 star show. Motley Crue delivered exactly what their loyal fans wanted on the first leg of their Saints of Los Angeles tour. The band delivered a classic hard rock show; with a no holds barred assault on your hearing and visual senses. The fans loved it and was on its feet from the beginning. The band fed on the energy and put on a great show which was everything and more than you could expect of a hard rock show.
The band members are so well known that they are almost cariactures but the crowd loved them all, especially Tommy Lee. What they sang was almost incidental to how it delivered and presented but Vince Neil encouraged all to sing along.
The Last Vegas were an adequate opening act but the crowd only wanted the Crue and the energy level rose 1000% with their arrival.
It helps to be a fan but if you want to see a definitive hard rock show catch Motley Crue on this tour.
