Three bands for the price of one on this tour!

Def Leppard have a loyal following who turned out in force at the Hard Rock and greeted all the bands enthusiastically. The head liners, Def Leppard were the best; probably hard rock at its best. These guys are good performers with a tight sound and they quickly drew the audience in. You need to be a hard rock fan to really like this band but you have to admire their professionalism. For me, too much hard rock and a little light on good songs but the crowd loved them and they were value for money. I did really like their version of 'Rock On'.

Styx were probably the least loud band but have arguably the best songs in their background. I liked their performance but their sound was not in the same league as Def Leppard.

REO Speedwagon were a strange mix , their most well known material, the power ballads, were somehow out of place in a hard rock show and the vocals overwhelmed by the band. Again, their hard rock sound was not the same quality as Def Leppard.

Overall a great value show for a hard rock fan.
