Nothing could prepare me for just how bad Upsetta were. Now, they may only have been a support act but they were shocking. The worst thing about bands that are bad is just how good they think they are.

The singer, who was more worried about his 6 inch high mohican (how original) alienated the crowd so quickly, we were soon all outside having a fag. Even those who didn't smoke were hiding outside away from the noise. When we finally braced ourselves to go back inside, the crowd had edged so far away from the stage that we couldn't get to the bar.

The music itself was loud, electronic rock which was just... pretentious. It was all about the show for these guys and not the music. They clearly wanted to be worshipped, but no one there actually cared about them at all. They didn't even notice. It was just all about them being on stage.

This is the worst band I've seen live in a long time, maybe ever. I'll avoid any gig they're playing at in London from now on.
