Caught The Animals with Spencer Davis and then the Troggs retro show at Komedia, Brighton, UK.

Komedia is a great venue for music. Exactly the right size within decent room to move around even at the sold out show.

These icons of the 60's put on an enjoyable performance. As far as I could figure out only one of the original Animals was there with the keyboard player who replaced Alan Price early on. They played their hits but things went up a notch when they were joined by Spencer Davis, whose songs really stand up well. This segment ended with House of the Rising Sun and the crowd really got into that!

The Troggs followed; not as good but the audience sang along with Love is All Around and Wild Thing. All in all, a good value show continuing to demonstrate that the 60's music is as good as it gets.
