What a massive disappointment. I felt really let down by a very poor evening. The sound quality was truly appalling. The sound technicians need shooting. All the subtleties and nuances of Roxy's music were lost in a cacophony of sound. It was so bad at times that I couldn't hear the backing vocals and even some of Any Mackay's playing and Ferry's singing was drowned out.

The O2 is a big venue so what was the point of having a screen which showed swirling patterns obscuring the imagery of the band playing?

The O2 is the wrong sort of venue for Roxy. I have seen them at the Hammersmith Apollo where their performance really was world class.

I never thought that I would want to leave a concert so early, if it hadn't been for a really kind O2 manager who moved us to better seats (ie closer to the stage, but with no improvement in sound) and the fact I was booked on a river taxi at a set time I would have gone home; and I am a really die hard Roxy fan.

PS Where were Chris Spedding and Lucy Thompson?
