Based on the sound quality throughout the show this would get a 2 or 3 stars BUT part of the sound system blew out two thirds of the way through so that would be unfair.

The concert was reallly interesting with the outstanding Band of Joy playing all sorts of different and unusual instruments throughout. Pretty much all the band could sing very well including well known sideman Buddy Milner. The harmonies were so good that at times the sound was almost acappela.

Robert Plant still has an excellent voice though he does not hit the crazy Zeppelin notes of the past; and probably the songs sound better for it. I liked the new takes on Zeppelin songs like Black Dog and I loved the encore of Gallows Pole. I was more ambivalent about the material from the Band of Joy album but I liked Satan your Kingdom Must Come Down.

All in all a very interesting musical evening made more memorable by the sound problem which Robert Plant and his crew handled very well. The problems would have thrown a lesser performer.
