On the bill for the night was Cheap Trick, Poison and Def Leppard. I went to the show to see Def Leppard and I left the show because of Def Leppard. Cheap Trick was good....Robin Zander's voice has not changed a bit over the years and if anything has gotten better. They played their better known songs and a new one. Enjoyable all the way around. Poison was up next. I did not even want to see Poison at all as I am not a Poison fan and have never been. My mind was totally changed. These guys were the best part of the show. Lots of energy and they connected with the people big time. Music was great. I never sat down during their set and did not get bored. On to Def Leppard...what a disappointment. I don't know if it is the fact that they are an British band and don't present themselves as our American bands do, but they were b-o-r-i-n-g. No energy at all and I got the feeling that they were bored also. The sound was fantastic and they almost sounded like their records do. That must have been hard with all the sound effects on the records, but they were close. But b-o-r-i-n-g. We left have way through the show.
