Superstar concerts rarely live up to the hype or the high ticket prices. This was one exception.

Paul put on a stupendous show at the Sun Life Stadium. Backed by an excellent 4 piece band, Sir Paul ran the gamut of songs from rock and roll to some of the Beatles endearing ballads. The sound quality was excellent for a stadium and a balmy South Florida evening added to the ambiance of hearing a true living legend. The early part of the show included some newer songs like Highway and Let Me Roll It, where the band showed it could rock. Of course, McCartney has such a fabulous collection of songs he could play for 10 hours and still not be done. Paul's energy is quite outstanding and he is a very accomplished musician as he demonstrated throughout the show. The songs like Something [George Harrison] ,My Love [LInda] and Here Today [John Lennon] were particulary beautiful and poignant as they related to people who are no longer with us.

Fireworks with Live and Let Die brought the crowd everywhere to their feet and they called Paul back for 2 encores.

Paul obviously enjoys doing these shows but catch this great performer as soon as you can.
