A fine, powerful show by Pat. This lady has still got it it and can really sing!  She was backed by a 3 piece band headed by Pat's husband 'Spider' Giraldo. The band was a little overpowering at first with an slightly intrusive bass. However Pat was more than up to holding her own and she and the band warmed to the job on I Need a Lover. Pat has both power and control and was at ease with the audience without being artificial. There was no glitz; just good simple playing and great vocals. Some of the best moments came when Spider joined his wife center stage for 'We Belong' and the moving 'We Live for Love'.

There were no pretensions with this show and the crowd really got into it on 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot'. The show was a little short and I wanted more even after a great encore of 'Heartbreaker'. Probably the sign of good show is that it leaves you wanting more. A fun night out with a strong and impressive performer.
