Three of the original members of The Moody Blues helped by 4 other band members gave a fine performance at the Hard Rock. They produced their orchestral art rock sound to great effect doing a particularly excellent version of Nights in White Satin. Justin Hayward still sounds great and the concert was a very interesting and varied combination of their old and new material. Because of the variety of their songs this was an involving and absorbing evening. Don't be fooled though, these guys can rock with the best, as shown on 'Singer in a Rock and Roll Band'. The 2 drum and 2 keyboard set up worked well and the band produced their orchestral sound well and this was among the best live concerts sound I've heard. It took a time for the casino audience to warm up but in the end their enthusiasm and the band's great performance brought the band back for 2 encores.
