This was the last decent gig I saw this band play. And they were fantastic. Everyone who was there enjoyed it and the band went through a really loud and real powerful set. They were louder than most of the bands that night, and better than a few of them too.
They're the kind of band that most people like. Sometimes you can't tell what their singer is actually saying, but it still sounds good so you don't really notice. Especially not if you've had a couple of beers.
The sound in the Purple Turtle has be rejigged and the stage is much bigger. I'm not a fan of the venue itself (gross toilets, rude staff), but the bands are much better for this. They seem to like this venue and it's easy to see why.
They have some really great bands on here, last time I was here, Mitch were one of them.
