Another really nice job by Classic Albums Live; this time on the Beatles White Album [to celebrate its 40th anniversary?].

This seemed to me to be a difficult album to do live as the songs range from rock to ballads and art rock oddities with strange sound effects. The Beatles never played it all live and it took every one of the 9 musicians including violinist, cellist and horn section to recreate all the needed instrumentation.

I thought the songs stood up very well 40 years on with the exception of a couple of over played standards  like..'o bla dee o bla dah'. The variety of songs made for an absorbing and interesting evening helped by high quality playing and singing.

All in all, highly entertaining. The word needs to get out about these Classic Abum Live sessions at the Hard Rock. Not to be missed by lovers of live music.
